This week I’m releasing three videos at once, a historical perspective on our metric and quantitative systems.   They center upon a historical film produced by IBM in 1964 called   “Once Upon A Punch Card.”   This little animated film explains very well the principles behind posting systems, and upon reflection helps explain how old the problems are we are attempting to solve with a metric engine.   Watch them here.
