I have recently become more deeply involved in the BSV Blockchain, joining the Technical Standards Committee and involved in assisting Tokenized.com in their product development.  I was invited to join their Global Conference in Dubai this week, and very impressed by the following:

  • Energy.  There is significant youth, ambition and energy in transforming financial systems in the world in this community.
  • Integrity.  This blockchain community is not about working outside legitimate governmental regulatory processes and enabling criminal activity.  It is about the power of doing what is right.
  • Rewards.  The BSV Blockchain is committed to changing the rewards for infrastructure providers, which may ultimately make the system more efficient and less costly, becoming a simple distributed ledger for all kinds of data, funded by user fees in very simple and direct ways.
  • Scale.  The technology changes in this blockchain are showing significant improvements in performance and scale.  More to be done but it is moving the right direction.

In this week’s video, shot as part of the conference background, I discuss how important it is for costs to be reduced on any new technology in order to make in-roads on replacing legacy financial systems.

This is Episode 256 of Conversations with Kip, the best financial system vlog there is.
