A scooter is the most nimble yet quick form of transportation out of all of them I’ve recorded on. In financial reporting, a spreadsheet is the most nimble form of financial reporting application there is.

This nimbleness and low cost goes a long ways to explaining the ubiquity of spreadsheet use for all kinds of metric analysis. It deals with structure data; it accumulates and calculates very effectively. It is the most widely used financial application there is.
